How do you "keep up" in the tech world? Other than here at Seven Forumns where do you look for information? Websites? Pod-casts? Magazines?

I subscribe three English (one American, two British), a German and two Finnish IT-magazines. I am member in four different IT guilds or associations. On the net, I visit as often as possible on Seven Forums, Eight Forums, TechNet, Answers @ Microsoft, Linux Users, Mac Users. Subscribing about 20 different IT RSS feeds.

Lately I've noticed two members of Seven Forums have become my major sources; I enjoy checking Jan's (JMH) latest Windows news, and Corrine's security news. Not to mention news posted by Airbot, Shawn, John, Jacee and many others. Seven Forums really is a good place to keep yourself informed.

Hi Kari, can you tell the title of the non-Finnish ( dont understand this language ... ) mgazines ? I am always eager to know about really informative magazines.
Sure.

From USA I subscribe DevPro Connections (former asp.net PRO). From Germany the IMO best local PC magazine Chip, and from UK Windows: The Official Magazine and PC Pro. I do not subscribe but because of the memberships in different guilds or associations I additionally receive monthly copies of MSDN Magazine (USA) and Linux Magazin (German).

The Finnish one is Tietokone. First lesson in Finnish: tieto (FIN) = knowledge (ENG), kone (FIN) = machine (ENG), combine these two words and you get tietokone (FIN) = computer (ENG) ;)
