I found an answer to my onboard wifi not working as a router.
Old driver version was stopping the onboard wifi from working as a virtual router. I had V.1158, needed v.1178 to utilize the functions in Windows 7.
That still leaves the issue of switching, but for now, my problem is solved, and I already know how to handle port forwarding via netsh.
Again, thanks for the support carwiz!
