Solved How make a video with webcam?

I can't seem to find a way to make a video with my webcam. I have been able to do this with other computers. Is there some way to do it with Windows 7?

Most webcams will be shipped with some sort of software that will allow you to record the output. If you do not have his software there are several ways to achieve this

VLC player will display the output of any video device [Open Capture Device] and you can send the output to a file

Thare are other applications available in the freeware market - search Google for webcam security apps.

Once you have the captured file you can use something like windows live movie maker to make the movie
