My W7 Ultimate, when asked to make a new folder, creates one named New folder. This happens whether I use Ctrl\Shift\N or the New folder command on the Menu bar.
But when asked again to create another new folder, it names it New folder (2).
Do it again and it's New folder (3) then (4), (5) and so on.
So I end up with this arrangement...
New folder
New folder (2)
New folder (3)
New folder (4)
New folder (5)
So, to suit my particular purpose, I have to rename the first folder to New folder (1)
Is there a Registry tweak or some other fix that would always default-name the first new folder to New folder (1)?
