How many gb does windows 11 require on your usb memory stick?

I'm thinking about installing windows 11 sometime. I just want to know if my current usb memory stick has enough gb, or if i need a new one?

I seem to get different answers to this question if i google it.

Normally you just goto https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 hit download assitant and it does it all for you keeping all data an programs and activating. If you get the usb then it may not activate and you loose all your setting

samuria gave you the link to MCT that creates a Win11 USB installation drive.

Your computer specs don't meet the requirements for Win 11. There are some workarounds.

Is there any chance that the size of the installation media file is going to change and get bigger? If not, then im just going to buy an 8gb usb memory stick.

There is no harm in having a bigger one, might be useful. They are quite cheap.
