Due to some reasons I (have to) use occasionally Internet Explorer 11.

It still works for most of the websites except some advanced which disabled RC4 encryption.

For webpages from these server I got an Error: "This page can’t be displayed"
Their server does not allow RC4 on the client side browser

How do I make IntExp 11 work for this WebSites as well?

Can I add an successor of RC4 (ChaCha20 or other?) to an existing IE 11 installation?

Or use a proxy?

Or adjust some other settings?

Thank you
Peter

Hi Peter,

This might help, you can re-enable the cipher by changing the Dword value.
Security Advisory 2868725: Recommendation to disable RC4 - Microsoft Security Response Center

However based on this article, i would advise against permenantly changing it.

Create 2 .bat registry files, on/off and only use when needed.

Maybe its me, not my specific area, but is this not purely your comp talking to your router???
you may also have to change its settings to allow AES, WEP and WPA you should currently be using WPA2
