Solved Windows 7 icons frozen on desktop

I can't move the desktop icons, can't even drag & drop, seems like everything is frozen. I'm om Windows 7, just an fyi.

I can open folders but nothing on my the screen can be moved? Any ideas whats going on?

I did.

The icons wont move. I cant drag them, I cant select multiple icons. I cant even move the icons on the task-bar. Another ex; I open several apps like Malware and I cant even move the window?

What the heck is going on?

Try keeping check marks in show desktop icons and remove the other check marks.

Right tick on Taskbar and select properties. Make sure their is no check mark in Lock Taskbar.

Reboot and see how things work.
