How to check if my Windows 7 product key is already used?

Is there any quick way to check whether a product key has been used or not? (Without going through the install and activation process). I haven't got a clue where the product key could be.

Hi Ma6932,
Easy check - google the last 3 sets of the key, multiple hits yes (COA key only)
All the base OEM keys will return loads of them.

Or you can run this tool. copy/paste ALL the output i'll have a look
