My 64bit laptop is connected to cable Internet/router, with wi-fi disabled-
I trialed Bitdefender IS (Slow/buggy!), and it forced me to create a logon password.

After uninstalling BD, I set PW to spaces so I wouldn't be prompted every time I booted.
Now Win popup says to create a new PW, as current PW expires in 4 days.

How can I completely stop PW protection, and Not be bugged again?

I don't recommend this but if you really want to disable the password from the start menu type in secpol.msc. Expand account policies > password policies. Double click on minimum password length, enter 0, and then close. Open maximum password age and enter 0 and close both windows. From control panel open up user accounts. Click on your account and then select remove password. Type in your current password and then click on remove password.
