How to: ctrl V + paste without going inside a folder

Hello fam,
pretty much straight forward question:

how can we paste (ctrlV) a file that has been cutted (ctrlX) into a folder without going into the folder or without going into the context menu options (of course)

It always saying "destination is the same"

If you are in a Folder & you use CtrlX on a file, you will cut that file from that Folder. Unless you then transfer to another Folder or the Desktop & use CtrlV the file will of course be copied back into the original Folder. So when it says the "Destination is the same" it is of course telling you what's happening.

Am I on the right track here or have I got your question wrong?.

What I want to know is: how do I paste the cutted files without entering into the folder (using ctrl+V)

I want to cut something that is out of a folder and paste them into the folder without entering the folder, and I want to do it by using shortcuts (ctrl+V)

If I do not go into the folder it will say "directory is the same" but I selected the folder in which I want them to be pasted, just like as I do when I use the paste option in the context menu, except I want to use a shortcut

resuming = I cut the files (ctrl+X) and want to paste without going into the folder (just like when we do it with the context menu---paste) I want to do ctrl+V

but If I want to use ctrl+V, I must enter the folder, otherwise it will not paste to the selected folder

You can paste into a folder, without actually entering the folder by making sure to highlight the destination folder name in File Explorer, then right-clicking and select Paste from the menu. Ctrl-V doesn't do it but Right-Click->Paste will.

LOL I already knew that you can paste with the menu

but we cannot paste with crtl+V without entering into the folder?
this is so absurd

there is no trick, no software that enable us to do that?

May I ask why is this so important? I don't yet understand completely what you're trying to do.

Thinking about it, what it does not is coherent, how does the program know where to copy to? I don't see the absurd here. But I'll try to answer the riddle just for the fun.

The closest I can think of, without using the context menu and without opening the destination folder is to open the parent folder and perform a drag and drop into it. This will move by default, unless you do it with the right mouse button, where you get a menu asking what action to perform.
You could also drag files/folders into the tree to the left of Windows Explorer (assuming you're using it) to do the same thing without even opening any related folder.

I was asking this question to be more productive, but there is no answer I guess, this functionality is just missing

I don't get why the paste in the menu is different than the ctrl+v (because we don't have to enter into the folder to paste something into it when we use the paste menu option as opposed to ctrl+v where we are FORCED to enter the folder) ....duh that's extremely ridiculous

when we select the destination folder without double clicking it and so by going into the folder --- if we select and ctrl+v , it will say "destination is the same"

It seems to not understand the wanted destination even if the folder is selected

Windows just isn't coded that way. My shell menu (right-click context menu) is full of items depending on what I R-Click on, but when I r-click on a folder, Paste is right there. Takes no longer than the former.
