How to default to a folder in the navigator pane

I want to be able to have it default to: (Example: U:users/dianefoler/

How do I set this so when I open "My Computer" it will default to U:users/dianefolder....instead of clicking on each one everytime?

I don't think you can change the shortcut path of My Computer, however, you can move your My Documents folder to another location, so that those relating shortcuts and links will go to your desired folder.

Maybe I didnt make myself clear..I will try it again..
When I click on "Computer" on my desktop - I want the left hand side (navigator pane) to default to a network drive then a folder: example:
U:users/dianefolder

Does this make more sense? I went to Organzie, then click "folder and search options" then on the general tab, I selected automatically expand t current folder but it didnt work? Am I in the right place or not?

Im not sure you can from the My Computer icon.

If you want a desktop shortcut, What you may want to try, is from the start menu, right click My Documents and choose "Send To" ---> Desktop create short cut.

Once there, you can rename it anything you desire, My computer if you want even.

It still opens the Explorer exactly as My Computer does, only with default view starting in the Documents folder.
