How to delete history in IE8

Hi!

How can I delete all historis in my IE8? Where are cookies located in Windows 7?

1. tried Safety-->Delete Browsing history (didn't help)
2. tried via Local Group Policy Editor-- Not configurated (didn't help)
3. CCleaner (didn't help)

There is only on way to delete everything "manually" but it can take a lot of time.

What can you recommend me?

Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete button (under Browsing History).

A dialog box will open allowing you to check mark (select) Tempory Files, History, Cookies, etc for deletion. Or, click the Settings button and a dialog box called Temporary Internet Files and History Settings will appear. Click on View Files and you can see the (possibly thousands) of cookies being stored. From here you can select individual cookies for deletion.

If you don't want to go through a humongous listing of cookies by using the Settings button, but you want to clean up a bit more than the default Delete button gives you, you might give CCleaner a look. It's free.

Have you tried to press CTRL+Shift+Del? This should bring up a Menu to allow you to Delete your Browsing History

You did not understand properly, when I open address bar (where we are typing internet address) there are three category (history, Favorites and last site visit).
According to this I cannot delete information from history in address bar.
I tried everything, see above - nothing help me.

Due to this I still can not resolve this issue.

For address bar history try this: Internet Options > Content tab > Settings button (under AutoComplete). Uncheck everything from the AutoComplete Settings dialog box. If I misunderstood again, I apologize.

Click the down arrow in the address bar, click the X's next to the URLs in History. This will delete them

Thank you, very good advise, but I know it. But what if I have a lot (1000 records in history), manually it is not possible to delete.

Delete History

Open an elevated command prompt, enter:

RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 1

This also works for IE9

As I understand, it is a similar to internet Options--> Browsing history (delete). Probably, I found better solution AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History.
