Solved how to delete restore points in Windows 7

I looked at the obvious search and found nothing that worked. A bad path or whatever.
When I do get to the Restore point screens I can see the old restore points but not how to get rid of them.
Windows7 "Search Programs and Files" is no help.

Thanks. I'll check out the replies. I was not seeing somthing at the delete button. And I appreciate the screen shots for direction. I'll look at the other suggestions.

I took the wrong turn again the first time in doing this but I got on the right foot finally.
There;s a different set of screens usually searched by the word restore rather than 'create'
which if used to search helps find it more easily.

Are these shadow copies deleted when using the Disk Cleanup Extended as part of Mr. Black's routie for it?

I put it in my cleaner folder but it might only stay there 14 days as trialware.

Ok, so all but the bottom two functions that they show? It looks interesting.


What I've had a problem with is retaining certain program info _after_ a restore. I think
that happens from not updating the program's profile after each addition. But Restore
always says your files will not be affected. I have this one that has the problem of
missing data after a restore. It's not gone, just missing a small piece. So the Restore
is interacting with the program in some unknown way. I don't know if the Snapshot can
correct for that.
