my laptop came with vista installed which i later upgraded to 7.since then its inbuilt mic(which worked just fine earlier) adjacent to the camera hasnt been working. i have the Ricoh camera driver installed but it does not include any driver for mic. i searched the specifications of my model vgn-fz35gn but no where is the model or maker listed on the internet.Even the device manager dosent show any hardware devices whose driver may be missing , so getting the hardware id is also not possible. what should i possibly do to let 7 know that theres an inbuilt mic in the laptop ?
(Theres one way - by using system recovery but it would bring back vista on c: and i dont wanna engage in that process)
