How to get rid of "folder types" (to make columns always the same)?

I set up my columns how I want them (Name, Date, Size and Type) and "Apply To Folders", but it only applies these settings to "folders of this type", not all columns.

How I can make columns the same in all folders?

Wonderful! Thank you :)

It's a shame that Windows users must download and run a custom bat file just to get Windows to behave in a "normal and logical" fashion, treating all folder the same regardless of what is in them.
