Hey guys
Maybe it is a strange thing to do.but there is reason
You see, internet is very expensive here.for example i pay about 30$ a mounth for a 300 kbit 5 gig traffic internet
But,it is free from 3 to 7pm.and I should download my heavy files in these hours.
The thing is: I have to set a new username and password for this free internet.and changing the username and password needs a restart of my modem

Here is what I currently do:
I set my computer to turn on at 3pm.I set the public free user name and password in my modem before i go to sleep(note that it only connects to the internet at 3pm and AFTER I reset the modem)
And IDM will automatically resume my unfinished downloads at 3:05 pm.
So what I have to do is to wake up at 3 and retart the modem.

But as I am a little lazy:)
I prefer not to wake up a beautiful sleep

So here is the thing:
Is it possible(with a program or anything) for me to have my computer go to my browser, enter the modem(by going to 192.168.1.1),enter the username and password and retart the modem?

(I almost know it is impossible.but i wanted to know if you guys know an app that has a shadow function or something)

Thanks in advance
Best regards

If you can restart the modem via its browser interface, you should be able to create an "autoit" script that can do that, and then start the script at the appropriate time by creating a task that launches the script at the appropriate time.
