Hello
recently i upgraded my acer laptop to windows 10 .After using for a week and so i starting having problems with it my disk usage started showing 100% although i was not doing any task.
so i decided to switch back to my original windows 7 through acer e-recovery management . Now the issue is that i can not perform factory reset . when ever i click on that i generally get an error that i need to clean all my files from hard disk as it will not perform the task , although i have no files on my laptop as i took a backup of my files and deleted them from the laptop.
I am unable to understand what is the issue

The process is different among the different brands and not having an Acer can't advise as to what theirs is. However, if you have nothing on it you want to keep you should be able to continue with a full factory restore, should be a prompt to do so. I've found in a similar situation that having made the discs when prompted was easier than doing it from a backup process.

I am using discs when prompted rather than doing it from a backup process but still i get the same issue.

You can go back to your older OS, you don`t need to use your recovery discs, Windows 10 has it`s own built in option to do that.

I have attached two images for better idea what issue i am having when i opt for complete factory reset ..i have tried every option. This option is the last option that can run my laptop like before...the error doesnt allow me. What needs to be deleted

Try this to get a iso to clean install win-7
If you had created a system image this process would of been so much more straight forward
This is pretty easy to do also I just started do it is is easier than falling off a log :)

Hi,
Yep if you have a 7 home premium 32 bit key I've read others say it will activate a 64 bit version of home premium
I've personally never tried it,
But none the less there are places to download the iso file to clean install the version with sp1 already on it,
http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/383716-iso-image-2.html#post3163070

Once you have the iso just put it on a ubs with option 2 here,
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2432-usb-windows-7-installation-key-drive-create.html#option2

So reinstall windows Home Premium with SP1, problem solved, you have the key, you just need the installer. If you wanted to install Pro you`d have to buy it.

And install 64 bit so you can max out the memory.

Service Pack 1 is a simple update which should have been installed years ago.

So where do I get the installer?
Here it is

If you don`t want to do the clean install then call the pc manufacturer and order recovery discs.

Who knows why you are getting that message, I `ve never seen it before.

Neither picture shows the extreme upper left corner which would help in identifying the program/application that is giving the messages. Could it be something from Acer?
