Solved How to install windows 7 on bitlocked laptop

Hey guys my friend gave me laptop and it got bitlocked. I am trying to install windows 7 from usb but i can't access bios or anything. Keeps on asking me to enter the password which i don't know. Tried DBAN software on usb but it did not work also because of bitlocker. :confused:

Please, give us ALL specs of the laptop.
Bitlocker is an encryption of the hard disk.
If you can't access BIOS it also has a BIOS password.
This is done to protect data if the computer goes to wrong hands.
Ask the original owner the password.

My laptop is Toshiba Protege Z930. Well i managed to fix the problem. I was pressing the wrong keys to enter the bios (del,f1,etc.) I read the user manual online and found that you gotta press f12 to enter boot options and bios. I have formatted the drive and now installed win 7. Thanks

Yep my legacy bios machines 64 bit is F12 and 32bit is F10 just to make thing interesting :)
