KB3102810 has value; especially for those starting with a clean/fresh install of W7 or a factory reset. Please see this post. There are other treads that show KB3102810 drastically shorten the Windows Update scan time and solved high CPU usage while scanning for W7 updates and while installing W7 updates.Not sure if its mentioned yet, but avoid KB3102810
If the goal is to have a W7 installation that cannot install W10, then avoid KB3102810 and its benefit to W7.
