Hello Birdulike,

What kind of repair? what is the problem you are experiencing?
Also, is this a full Windows 7 installation disk?
Be very helpful if you filled out your system specification in your user cp.

Cheers, John

Repair install has to be run inside windows, you dont need to boot from the disk. Follow instructions here.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

If this a retail upgrade disk, it should work fine. Only thing is if you've updated to SP1, you need an integrated disk, the pre-SP1 disk wont work.

I mean the system spec you will see if you click on the "my system specs" at the bottom left of the box.
It's helpful to know what kind of hardware you are running is all.
In this case I'd follow the links in Stormy and Bill's posts above. There are full tutorials there.
Cheers, John

OK . Have you installed Sp1 from Windows update. You can check that by opening Windows Update from your menu and
looking at update history. Sp1 was quite recent so you should see it in the list. If you haven't installed it, don't and let us know.
cheers, john:)

Thanks how do I get an intergrated disk?
Thats a million dollar question- how do pre-sp1 customers repair their installs post-sp1? MS has yet to release the integrated SP1 disks for general availability so the only source could be somebody with a technet/msdn subscription that can lend you such a disk. Otherwise google around or wait till you can order media only disks or do a clean install with the old disk.
