how to sort music by encoding type

does any one know how to easily sort through music files by encoding type ie: mp3 and FLAC? i have over 5000 songs that need sorting and more than half needs converting

I looked and i found no easy ways you'd want to do this, but how about this--
when in the folder with all your music, search the file extention (.mp3 or .FLAC) and highlight all files that show up, then cut and paste into a folder with the same name as the file extention hope this can help you

heres another question if ya know it how do i sort my media files by duplicate all my files are numberd and its hard to find dupes
