How To Stop A Popup

I recently built a gaming computer. It uses an Intel Core i7 7th generation processor and runs Windows 7 Professional. I have started getting this popup:

Everything seems to be working properly so I am not too awfully worried about the updates (let me know if I should be really worried), but the popup appears several times per day, disrupting my work and more importantly my screen recordings. I got the message, and now I really need it to stop popping up. Is there a way to put an end to this?

On a side note, I can upgrade to Windows 10 for free if I really need to but I like Windows 7 so I'm hoping no one comes back and tells me I'm doomed if I do not upgrade.
