Hello, I need some help with my sound settings. I see many individual sound settings but I want the speakers to be off by default when I: 1) turn on the machine; and 2) When waking the laptop from sleep.
Everytime I turn the sound off-(always), close the laptop and carry it to my next class, when I open it, the sound is back on. I need sound at home, but that is 25% of the time and its alot easier for me to turn it on only when needed. Also, this model has a hardware -touch area where the sound can be turned on/off by touching the pad. But it does not work during bootup b/c after I turn it off, midway through loading--the speaker turns on (indicated by the color of the light). I did disable the startup sound, but thats only 1/2 the problem.
