Solved How to uninstall Word 2007 updates

This is my first post so I hope have done it right. My student son has a copy of office 2010 to replace his copy of word 2007. If we uninstall the 2007 version will it remove the updates with it or do they have to be removed separately. All the software is legitimate.

Office 2010 will attract its' own updates.

Great link from Microsoft Support. Same page has instructions for removing 2010, 2007 and 2003, plus additional instructions if going to a Mac.
