Hi all,

I have an hp6730b Laptop running with Win 7 Pro (32 Bit). I accidently used device manager & r-click display drivers & selected update display driver. It connected to the internet and updated my display driver. After this my display is changed to 1024 X 768.

I have tried the following

  1. The original resolution is more than this but i cant find this option at all.
  2. System resotre - doesnt work popus up access denied - Tried in administrator login also
  3. Downloaded latest driver for win 7 for hp 6730b from hp website still no changes
Need assistance, how to get back my old resolution. Can i use the win 7 dvd to repair this display problem.

Someone plz assist.

You can use revert the driver back by clicking Rollback driver in Device Manager

Right click on Display, click rollback and follow on screen
Instructions.

Hope this helps.:D

Edit: please excuse my typing, I am typing this from my iPhone and it is very difficult to type.
