Hi there all, I have have been trying to resolve this problem for the past three days!

I have got a big problem with an HP Pavilion DV6-6c57ea laptop, the Dual graphics drivers won't install no matter what I do. Windows 7 has been freshly installed, I have installed the drivers from the website numerous times and in different orders, I've even tried changing the motherboard to a DV6-6156ea with AMD Radeon HD 6490M and still had the same problem. I've even tried using Driver Easy and it found a newer DV6-6c57ea driver for its AMD Radeon HD 7470M/Intel HD graphics and installed, but when I right click on Configure Switchable graphics and open the the AMD catalyst it shows the wrong options and not the correct screen to switch the graphics properly like this:

After many google searches and trying what they said with no avail, I am literally pulling my hair now!
The strange thing is I had a similar laptop with the same hardware and it installed fine but not with the HP drivers (it just did the same as above) so I had to uninstall and use the one from Driver Easy and it installed and worked perfectly, but not this time it just comes up with that same thing when I try to configure switchable graphics.
All help is much appreciated.

It is possible that the drivers on the Dell website are not the correct drivers. Check this post to see how to get the correct drivers -- use the VEN-DEV method first, before trying the Windows Update method.

Have you tried doing a factory rebuild on your computer? There will be an option on your HP computer for creating the factory rebuild disks. Be aware that with HP, you get only one shot at creating the disks. Proceed with extreme caution. However, the fact that you have changed to a different motherboard very likely means that the factory rebuild disks are no longer useful on your computer.
