I am thinking about getting a new hp or upgrading my dv6!
It would be cheapper to upgrade my laptop and i wold like to ask some advice here!
To go from 4gb ddr2 to 8 gb ddr2 and and to change from hdd to ssd!
But with ssd i don't know what to chose...i have seen good reviews about the Crucial M4!
And aswell to chance my curent procesor (intel dual core T4200 ) with a quad core ...but i don't know what intel procesor does fit the socket on the motherboard!
Thank you!

As The Fabe said, you won't see a speed difference going fromn 4gb of ram to 8gb. You only need 8gb if you are going to be doing some serious multitasking or serious gaming. Same with the quad core cpu. The ssd will help a lot. I put a Crucial M4 ssd in my not-so powerful laptop and it is so fast! It has a single core and 2gb of ram and it is really fast.

Well i am using my laptop to watch blu-ray movies and photo editing softwares such as photoshop CS5,Nikon NX2 and some other softwares like sony vegas, virtual dj...and it happens from time to time to run about 3 of them at the same time...usually the photo editing software!
I know the ssd is one option,as i don't really want to change my laptop!
The other option was to get a new hp dv6 with the specs:
Intel® Core™ i5-2410M Processor
- 2.3 GHz (2.9 GHz max Turbo Frequency)
- 3 MB Smart Cache
- Dual Core
-6 ddr 3 RAM
-AMD Radeon HD 6490M graphics processor
Best regards,
Wyzo!
