Hp laptop usb mouse configuration

Hello Everybody,
I am using a HP Pavillion dv6-2123sf laptop with Windows 7 home premium 64bit OS. I have Synaptic touchpad v6.5 driver installed for the touchpad. It fives an option to convert the touchpad configuration into a left-handed one. When selected the buttons on the touchpad change but not on the USB mouse. Please suggest a solution to convert my USB optical mouse from a right hand to left hand.

You should have a Mouse category in Control Panel. The option should be there on the Buttons tab.

I've been caught out like that. You probably have a dropdown to select the device.
