Folks...not sure this is in the right area...but had to give it shot.

End user running:
Windows 7 Home 64bit
HP MFP CM1312nfi

We can't get the scanner to work from the printer to the computer. The scanner works fine from the computer to the scanner but not the other way around.

Tried the following:
1. Uninstall and clean install of HP software
2. Compatibility mode Vista SP2

Any ideas...I have been searching all evening and no luck to date.

Have you looked for "Windows 7" drivers?

Can you tell us what a HP MFP CM1312nfi is? I can "guess" scanner but

HP Windows 7 Driver. Tried both 64 and 32 bit.

The device is a printer/scanner/fax/copier.
