I’ve installed a HP mv2120 Media Vault on my computer that’s running 6801. For the most part it seems to be working however:
· The Network LED on the server flickers some. I think it is supposed to remain a solid blue
· I am unable to turn on Network Discovery (running Kaspersky KIS 2009). Windows tells me it’s automatically activated for Private Networks, but the radio button is set to Turn Off Network Discovery
· I get a lot of communication errors from NTI Shadow: “Communication to the HP Media Vault has been lost. Your file/folder changes will not be backed up. Check the connections, make sure the HP Media Vault is on, and restart the backup job”. However, I can see and access the server from Explorer.
I think something is interfering with my ability to set the Turn On Network Discovery button. The User Manual specifically tells me to turn that on.
Thoughts?
