I had a problem with my HP print software not being able to find the printer on the network. I had to set it's address to static. second I still have the problem of other wireless devices obtaining the printer's address when it's turned off.
if this happens the wireless device has to be disconnected and the printer turned on before the wireless device can be re connected.
not sure how I can prevent this but I suspect you're having the same issue.
