hp remote control

Hi, does anybody knows does hp remote control works on other computers?

I would like to make it work on MSI GX623. Is it possible? and how?

That is the default HP Pavilion and HDX laptop remote. It works on every computer with ENE infrared receiver. If you are not sure about which infrared receiver your MSI computer has, you can try it by installing an ENE CIR driver and testing if remote works. You find the driver from HP's driver page for every model that comes with a remote.

MSI got ene cir receiver and I have installed its drivers, but remote control dont want to work.Remote control is from HP pavilion dv9000. I searched for its ene drivers but had no luck to find it...
