I'm the 2nd owner of that computer, which had onboard sound. There's no sound now, so I tried substituting other speakers, but still no sound. There are no open slots for a sound card. One slot has a TV tuner, which I know I'll never need, but the slot is too short. The longest slot has a VGA card.
I found USB sound cards, but I have no idea what to buy.
