hyperlinks in emails

When we receive emails from our server email addresses are in plain text and are not clickable. It is ok from other sources.

Questions questions.
What kind of email program are you using?
and, when you say you receive email from your server, is this a local exchange
server?
Knowing what kind of email program and where your retrieving your email would
help in giving you advice.

We are using Windows live mail. It is happening on other programmes but it is ok on "Outlook"

These emails are enquiries from our new website which are redirected by our server. Copy of properties of their sent email below;

Alan, I don't use Windows Live Mail so the only guess that I can say is that it is a function of windowslivemail. It looks like URL's are clickable but not email address's. Not sure what to tell you right now outside of looking at the options in WLM and see if there is an option to recognize email address's and allow you to click on them to reply or whatever..

Hello Rich, this problem also occurs with Eudora, Thunderbird and Pegasus and it only occurs from our server.

I use Eudora since ver 1.7 or so and something tells me that your server is stripping out the "mailto" and such from the messages. When you say server do you mean your exchange server? or what..

Hello Rich,
Maybe I using the wrong label. They are the web designers, it appears they are sending the emails automatically showing the business email address, when I or a client receives the email address shown in the body of the email is not clickable.

In view of your obervations I am going back to the designers to sort this out.
