i want to do the clean reinstall but what blank discs do i buy? dvd-rw? and you can only do this once right ? and if mine has been used which I think has because I had 2 diff people work on it back in the day. I called a guy out actually and asked him if he stole my lisence.... thats crazy i forgot about it. he said your going crazy how could i do that. he stole mine and offf my old vista and my gf i bet. i cant wait to find out

Vegaskid you can use dvd-r or rw it's entirely up to you. R is cheaper though. You can reinstall more than once, just make sure you burn the correct iso.

An OEM Win7 license which came preinstalled on the machine can't be used on any other machine so you can forget about that nonsense and drop the rest of it, too.

Get a grip and read carefully through the steps to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 then ask back any questions related to getting each step done correctly. Focus!

The result of completing the steps correctly will be a perfect Win7 reinstall which if you stick with the methods described in the tutorial and nothing else will run flawlessly. You should also save a Win7 backup image of the completed install so you never have to reinstall again - even though you can reinstall as often as you want.

Wow thanks every 1 i need to find a computer other than mIne to do the download now. U have been great and understanding my insanity! Computers have endless info and drivers files kb mb and so on its endless. I pray this work or i will smash this computer n buy a new 1! My gf says computers r not to b talked about in our house. The problem has been a hell experience since day 1 so im greatfull for the tips advice and links!!! God bless
