Hello all,

Several days before, I worked fine with the hibernate and sleep functions, but yesterday something happened so that I can only use hibernate but sleep.

I have the latest Graphics drive, and when I enter 'powercfg -a' in the cmd, here is what I get:

The following sleep states are available on this system: Hibernate
The following sleep states are not available on this system:
Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
Standby (S3)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
Hybrid Sleep

Some say entering the BIOS can solve it, but I use mac which dose not include such concept.
Any ideas to fix it?

Thanks,
Leo

temp workaround

Permit me to quote from a different, related thread. It's a possible workaround for you for now:

That's what I've been using... A power setting that makes the laptop sleep after 1 minute has elapsed. It's an additional click compared to using the "start menu Sleep", but not too bad.

When resuming normal operations, I switch to a different power management mode that waits 1hr or more before the laptop sleeps.

Yep, it's just a workaround... I realize this, but it's OK for me for now.

Hello dperecky and gregrocker,
Today when I enter win7, everything gets all right, which remind me of a saying:"Rebooting solves every bug."
Thanks for your advice and best wishes for you.
