I don't have permission to access my own flashdrive

Occasionally, I download files to my flash drive that will ultimately be restored to one of my client's computers. Yesterday, I installed my flash drive to a client's new HP desktop computer. Then I clicked on the drive letter assigned to my flash drive. I then receive a message that said I did not have permission to access my flash drive. Is there any help to make this problem go away?
