And thought this is the best place I know to ask.


I was watching "The Social Network", and noticed he was using terminal scripts on linux to download a bunch of images at once.

Can I do something similar with CMD or any other program for windows, but instead of it just downloading images, make it click certain links, or a certain X,Y position on the screen, all timed a certain way?

PS: You dont actually have to give me a script for that, as much as just show me how to do it, or find me a site that can show me how, because I couldnt find one.

If you use firefox, there is an add-on I use to DL a bunch of pictures. It's called Bazzacuda. I've been using it for a few years now and it works real good.

The set-up was a little confusing to me at first but once you get over that hump it might be all you need.

If you just want to click at a specific section of the screen....you could use something like DoItAgain which is a keyboard mouse recorder utility that can repeat a series of tasks. I used it recently at work to log into a number of servers and update the DNS servers defined in /etc/resolv.conf.
