Solved I have black squares over my Windows 7 desktop icons.

I have removed the visible shortcut arrow on shortcut icons.
This has the consequence of turning all the icons black.

Is it possible to restore the icons without having to re-initialize the visible shortcut arrow?

And secondly please how do I re-initialize the visible shortcut arrow?
