But I can't figure out how to make it "known".

The device is a Casio CW-100 disc title printer.

I have the Vista drivers installed and the printer works.

But it shows up as a "unknown device" in Windows.

How can I make it "known"?

That didn't work.

you need to find and install driver of this device...

I noted that I had an installed driver.

Get the drivers you need here:
Digital Stationeries - Download - Support - CASIO

Note that 64bit operating systems are not supported.

Got those. Installed those.

If so you'll need to install in compatibility mode. If you need to know how reply and I'll walk you thru it. Fabe

I think I can figure that out.

That didn't work.

What didn't work? When you unplugged your printer, did the unknown device disappear, or did it stay there? If it stayed there, then it isn't your printer.
