I don't think that they sell them with a conversion kit included. Why do you want to buy a 2.5" for a 3.5" slot? You aren't saving any room by the time you put in the conversion kit. I would just buy a 3.5".

The OP is wanting to use an SSD instead of an HDD so buying a 3.5" HDD is not an option. Mounting in an existing 3.5" bay is actually a sanitary way of mounting a 2.5" SSD when no other convenient, non redneck looking mounting option is available.

On occasion, I have seen Samsung SSDs sold in a kit that included a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter. However, pretty much any 2.5" to 3.5" adapter can be used just as well and there are large variety of them available (the one AK6DN linked is as good as any other and is very reasonably priced). There are even adapters that allow one to mount two SSDs in one 3.5" bay, such as StarTech.com BRACKET25X2 Dual 2.5” to 3.5" Hard Drive Bay Mounting Bracket - 2.5" to 3.5" HDD / SSD Mounting Bracket w/ SATA Power and Data cabling - Newegg.com.

SSDs weigh next to nothing and all you really need is for it to be mounted so that it doesn't rattle around loose so I have mounted many of them by just putting 2 screws on one side within a 3.5" bay. No real need for them to be mounted so they're centered in the bay or anything so a bracket really isn't necessary.

For both price and quality, Crucial (products) is a hard brand to beat.
I'm using a Crucial SSD right here in this Toshiba Laptop that I'm using here in my bedroom.

I always go to "www.crucial.com" for all my RAM memory needs.

Wishing Y'all a very great Independence Day.

I just found out my new Windows 10 desktop has a similar SDD installed, a Micron M550 2.5" 7mm 256GB SSD which is the OEM version of the Crucials. The review I read said it did so/so in real world testing but is considered a very good SDD for gaming in read only situations.
