I need help with my Acer Aspire 5250

It's not even 4 years old and it's acting up. I somehow have it stuck on 'setup is starting services'. And a box pops up saying something happened and I have to redo it. Before I shuck out a lot of money buying the windows 7 disk again, I want to see if there is anything I can do.

Did this PC originally come with Windows7.

Have you tried a system file check? It will look for and possibly repair any corrupt system files. We have many excellent tutorials here at the forums, heres a couple on how to do that if you haven't before :
