The laptop just blacked out for a couple of seconds before restarting, prompting the usual "start windows normally?" option whenever this happens. After it starts up the "windows have recovered from unexpected error" will list bluescreen as the problem .Occurs at random, usually once every few days most of the times when I'm browsing with chrome and rarely when I'm navigating my folders. Never happen when gaming, if that means anything.

Attached the whatever thingy the instruction here told me to put.

Looks like your AV, McAfee causing it,

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\mfehidk.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mfehidk.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mfehidk.sys
 mfehidk+0x67898

For the time being, uninstall your Anti-Virus,

AV Uninstallers

And Install Microsoft Security Essentials which we know doesn't cause BSOD's.

Thanks a lot! I'll bump this if it's not fixed for some reason, but that's one big if.

The cause of this one was Daemon tools,

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\dtsoftbus01.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for dtsoftbus01.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for dtsoftbus01.sys
 dtsoftbus01+0x33b4e

That's a well known trouble maker, uninstall it and see how it goes,

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause of BSOD's.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools.
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
- Double click the executable to open it
- Click the button shown below

picture.php

If the button it is grayed out, as shown in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can just close the window.
