I want Green Smiley Faces/Vuze

Hello to all.

So, I have been running Vuze for quite sometime. It works for the most part. Although it may take a bit longer to download some things, it works. However, I have not once, ever, got a Green Smiley. I would like to change this.

Let me state I do NOT have access to the router. My landlord allows us to connect to his. I have read up on how to change ports, remove the Windows firewall, and such.

Is this all pointless if I do not have access to the router?

Should I not bother to change this since in a way it does work? Average download time for a film with 50/Seeds/peers is about an hour.

Confused and wanting to learn-

Hi, without being able to get into the router to check NAT or portforward then it will be a problem. If you are only taking an hour to download a film then it's not too bad, you could try UTorrent to see what that throws up if its no better then uninstall it and carry on with Vuze.
