Hi guys, when it comes to processors, I have limited knowledge, so hopefully I can get some insight.
I currently run the i5 processor, but working where I do, I have a chance to pick up a laptop with the i7 processor quite cheap. Anyway, I won't bore with the details, but the memory and everything else are the same, the only difference is the processor.
As for what I use it for, mainly I play a game called football manager, which is quite processor intense.
Intel Core i7 4500U vs i5 3210M
I looked on the website above, and the the i7 beats it marginally, but the processor speed is significantly lower, so I don't really want to go for the new laptop if it makes my game run slower.
On a side note, you may wonder why I'd want to swap, but the new one has a wireless card that supports 5ghz, so I would get more speed from my internet
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
