icon customization

Hi everybody
I was successful to change the icon of Control Panel. However, when I display the content of CP(StartMenu-Control Panel) on the desktop, the icon of CP is the old format. the issue is shown below :

Can somebody to give me a hand to fix it please.Thanks

Right click on the control panel icon on the taskbar> On the choices that pop up, right click on Control Panel> Click on properties> Click on change icon> Navigate to the icon you want. Apply and or OK your way out.

Yeah.I had posted that OP could drag and drop the custom ico to the taskbar.Then posted that it wasn't a solution to the problem.

Some one cleaned it up...Thanks
