Icon Not Get iT To Go Down.....

A member of the family decided to change the display settings on our Window's 7 Computer and everything looked huge. I reduced the it again but for some reason the icon's on the desktop didn't go back and appear huge. Here's a picture to indicate:

Would anyone know how to fix this please? Thank you for your help,

Several things you can try:

1. Simply right-click on the Desktop, click View, choose small icons.

2. If that's already done and the icons are still large, check the accessibility options; right-click on Desktop -> Personalize -> Ease of Access settings.

3. Try the magnifier setting: right-click on Desktop -> Screen Resolution -> Make text and other things larger or smaller.

A couple of other things you might try:

Right-click your Desktop to open Personalize. Select: Window Color and Appearance, and click on the Advanced button. In the Item drop-down menu, there are several Icon options that might affect the size of the Desktop icons. Try experimenting with all of the settings for: Icon, Icon Spacing Horizontal and Icon Spacing Vertical.

Also, if you have a mouse with a middle scroll wheel you can highlight the icons, hold down the control, and scroll down.

Or as a third option - on the desktop, hold 'ctrl' and roll the mouse backwards until the faint box around those icons disapear.

If its already on 100% then choose 125%, click apply and then click 100% again and Click Apply.
