HI,
has anyone noticed that there is a padlock in the icons on the desktop?
I specify that no file is encrypted or shared!
Thank you

Hello alpha45

what were you doing, when you specified no file encrypted or shared?

If you specified no file shared, then that could be the problem.

When the screen picture taken, were you logged on as User "Piero"?

That's absolutely normal.
The padlock means that the file is private to only one account (ie only one user has permissions on it), which is the case for the vast majority of the files on a user profile folder, including the desktop.

Encrypted files (with EFS) have a green name, and shared folders have a different icon instead.
