A friend came round with his laptop saying it was slow, would not connect to the WiFi and would not load web pages when connected by wire to the router.
I did a boot scan with AVG rescue and it only showed one item which was MSN corrupted exe Gingrich it healed.
I then went into Device manager and uninstalled the WiFi, rebooted and after the drivers were re-installed that solved the WiFi problem.
After connecting to the WiFi, Win7 decided to hit me with 60 odd updates, when these were completed I fired up IE 10 and it would just hang there trying to connect to any site I tried.
So I installed Chrome & Firefox and had no problems with either of those browsers.
So I decided to install IE 11, and after the install, exactly the same problem it would just indefinitely try to access the site without actually loading.
Can anyone suggest what could be the problem as I am at a loss as to what to do next and he prefers IE.
