IE Favorites

I keep my favorites saved on my D Drive. After installing Windows 7 I change the location of my favorites to point to my D Drive, however in my browser window when I click on favorites not only do my favorites show but also 'My Documnets' folder with all the files and folders. This is quite annoying for me as I don't want my "my documents' folder showing up there.

Is there a fix for this as I can't see one and don't know how to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Seven Forums.

When you point to the new favorites location, you need to point to the specific folder.

Hello Will,

You're IE8 Favorites do not work because you moved the C:\Users\(user-name)\Favorites folder from it's default location. You will need to restore this user folder back to it's default location before it will work in IE8.
